In an effort to lure diners to its restaurants in the country, the chain announced that it will open a second outlet in Malaysia this week, and has already begun marketing it as a Chinese takeaway in its Facebook page.
The outlet, dubbed Horley & Co., will be located in the Chinese city of Lanzhou, which will be the first Chinese outlet in the United States, as well as the first in Asia.
According to the chain, the new outlet will serve food prepared by Chinese-owned Chinese restaurants in Malaysia, as the restaurants already offer local cuisine.
The new outlet is expected to open by the end of this month.
The company said it is the second Chinese outlet to open in the US in the past two months, and will offer a variety of Chinese dishes.
The outlet’s location is located in an area of the city called the Chinese district, and its name is being changed to Horley’s in the next few days, the company said.
The Chinese takeaway chains have expanded in the Middle East and Asia as well, including one in the U.K., which has an Asian outlet in London. In the U
