The sports drink giant’s flagship takeaway burger restaurant in the UK has been given the honour of being named “Best Restaurant in Britain” for the third consecutive year.
The Bjs Takeaway Burger in Bournemouth has been named the best burger in Britain, beating out the likes of McDonald’s and Domino’s.
The company’s flagship takeout burger chain, which has around 2,000 outlets across the UK, was named best restaurant in Britain for the first time last year, ahead of the likes, McDonald’s, and Dominos Pizza.
The burger was also named best takeaway restaurant in England and Wales in the 2015/16 financial year.
Last year, Bjs was also voted “Best UK takeaway burger in a number of categories including Best takeaway menu” by the Daily Telegraph.
Bjs takeaway menu has been voted the best in the world, with customers enjoying their burgers, fries, sauces and desserts alongside a selection of beer and wine.
The chain’s flagship burger, the Bajaja Burger, has been hailed as “one of the best burgers in the country” by UK-based food magazine Eatwell.
Other burgers on the Bjs menu include the Baja Burgers, the Bacon Ranch and the Big Bacon Burgers.
In addition to burgers, Bajas also serves a variety of salads, soups and wraps, as well as sandwiches and salads.
It has a long-standing history in the U.K. and it was founded in the city in 1963 by restaurateur Sir George Gee.
The restaurant is now based in Wokingham, and its outlets are in Leeds, Wigan, Liverpool, Newcastle, Bristol and Cardiff.
