A new restaurant has opened in Chinatown, and a new menu has been added to its menu.
The new restaurant, Coco’s, is set to open at the corner of Main and East Market streets at the end of the month.
It will be a new takeout restaurant for the neighbourhood.
Coco’s owner and chef, Justin Liu, said the idea was to bring food to the neighbourhood that wasn’t available in Chinatown.
He said Coco’s would cater to a wider audience.
“Coco is just about sharing a little bit of what we know to make it a little more accessible to people that maybe haven’t been to Chinatown,” Liu said.
The restaurant is slated to have a menu of Asian dishes, including duck and pork belly.
It also plans to serve a mix of Indian, Vietnamese, Filipino and Japanese dishes.
